Country Dog!

As most of you know in May we had to give Shadow to my parents. It was a very hard decision for us to make, but it has turned out to be a great thing. Shadow loves living with Mimi and Pappy.
About 6 weeks ago, my parents moved to their new house in Chilton County. They live on almost 7 acres. Instead of laying around the house sleeping all day Shadows days are filled with:
Riding around town with Pappy
Chasing Uncle Hubert and Aunt Jeanette's Guineas
Visits from Uncle Hubert and Aunt Jeanette's dog Tanner (they get along!!)
Running through the woods
Laying in the red Alabama mud
Visits from his old Mommy

Since Shadow is outside getting dirty all day, he gets at least 1 bath a day. Do you think he needed a bath after this?

The Beach, Part 2

Last Wednesday James, Thomas, Shawn, Jennifer, Jordan, and I loaded up Sherri's Durango and headed to Grandmas beach house in Panama City. Thursday and Friday we spent time on the beach. During nap time James and Shawn took the babies inside while Jenn and I laid out. It was very nice relaxing, talking, and snoozing on the beach. We ate at Pineapple Willies Thursday night, and Boars Head Friday night. Both restaurants were yummy!!
When the boys were sleeping at night the four of us played the Wii. We had a great time hanging our with our friends!!
Thomas had several firsts on this trip. On the way down he had his first chicken nuggets. I know they aren't good for him, but once won't hurt, right! The boys were starving and McDonalds was the only thing I could find in Bonifay, FL. On the way down to the beach he also watched his first movie, Cars. When I say he watched the movie, I really mean he saw 5 minutes of it until he fell asleep!

Here are a few pictures from the trip!

We're in!

We are finally in our new house! We are still unpacking and getting everything set up, but everything is going well. Coal is adjusting to the new house. He loves to lay in Thomas' room with him, but really loves the cold floor to lay on. Thomas loves the new floors because now he can hit the ball, watch it roll, and crawl after it. He has spent hours doing that since we moved in.
