We're Moving!!

In the beginning of May, James and I decided to put our house on the market to see what would happen. We called a friend of mine that is a realtor, Julie White. She listed our house and had it sold within 8 days!! We were very excited, but now we had to find a house. We hadn't even looked yet!!
We love our Deer Valley house and it will be bittersweet leaving it. There are many great memories here, but we know we will make many more at our new house.

Julie showed us several great houses, but we fell in love with one the first visit. Its in Pelham out in Ballantrae. James will be less than a half a mile from a golf course. I hope he can still get work done being that close to a driving range. We will move in the weekend of July 6th. We are very excited!!

Family time at the beach!

Last Sunday we headed to the beach with my Mom and Dad, and Doug and his family. We all had such a great time. The girls loved playing on the beach. They found beautiful shells and sand dollars. Of course they were exhausted when the finally sat still at night. Here are Mary and Bree after a long day swimming.

Thomas loved the beach!! I filled a blow up pool with beach water and beach toys. He played and played!! Apparently he didn't think the salt water (or sand) tasted bad because he kept putting the toys in his mouth. He also cut his top 4 teeth while at the beach so we had a few sleepless nights. He is feeling much better now. Here he is on the beach.

9 month appointment

Thomas had his 9 month appointment yesterday. He weighs 21 lbs, 8 oz and is 29 inches long. That is the 75th percentile for weight and height. Everything checked out great at his appointment. He is also in the process of getting his 4 top teeth in.

Thomas decided at this visit he doesn't like being at the doctors office. He screamed when we walked into the examination room. He cried so hard while they were weighing him he wasn't breathing. Poor baby!!

Thomas crawled for the first time yesterday. Today we caught him in the act on video. Enjoy!

The Reach

Thomas has been reaching for James or me for a while now. Recently he has started reaching for other people. Last Thursday I was holding him and my brother, Doug, walked up and Thomas just about jumped out of my arms to get to him!! My dad and brother love to share stories with each other about how Thomas reached for them while someone else was holding him! I am so lucky that Thomas has so many people that love him.
